ABOUT MYKONOS FARMERS

We are very proud of our cheeses and also very proud to use new technologies in our sustainable and environmentally friendly cheese production facilities.

The first step was many years ago when our family began making cheese and yogurt with milk from its own herd of animals to meet the everyday needs and maintain the large number of its members. A few months ago we created a brand new Cheese on the hill of St. Lazarοs, expanding the small dairy in an integrated and structured production process, which even today preserves the key elements of tradition. Continuing the family history with the same vision to create fine products, we collect milk from selected herds and enthusiastically create cheeses, yoghurt, rice pudding, Kopanisti and other dairy products, always with an eye on quality.

We keep what we received with insistence on quality and taste, so every day we offer a comprehensive superior taste experience for our guests.
Our production process combines traditional techniques with the requirements of today. Large rooms with stainless steel containers where it coagulates and cheese is cut, harmoniously coexist with the ripening rooms. Dedicated to our quality, certified knowledge of modern methods, to ensure hygiene joy and faith in the traditional way of cheese making, in our Dairy preserve the local character of our cheeses. So, we offer products that continue the long and rich history of Greek cheese, to taste pure and authentic waking memory and honours the tradition.
Remaining faithful to the art of curing and authenticity of taste, we evolve tradition with respect. All cheeses and dairy products we make, are handmade without preservatives.

Irini is a native Mykonian chef working for private events. She is the one to host you at Mykonos Farmers’ facilities in order to experience yourself the interactive cooking experience. She is also the owner of
